MAINTAINING A CLUB OR SOCIETY
FUNDRAISING
Fundraising should be the primary source of income for your club/society! Each group is required to hold one fundraiser per semester.
Clubs and societies that are more than one semester old automatically receive a £50 budget from Student Affairs and can apply for more funding.

MAKE A DIFFERENCE
Decide the purpose of your club, and find a dedicated team that will help you achieve it!
Improve campus mental health, sustainability, inclusivity, or just have a safe space to meet every now and then. If you'd enjoy it - so will others!
EVENTS
As well as fundraisers, clubs and societies can plan or get involved in events on and off campus. If you need help planning events, talk to us (the SGA) or Jamie, we're more than happy to help!
Working together with other clubs or Student Affairs to put on events can also be great fun.

ADVERTISING
Make social media for your club, design posters, post them, and send them to Student Affairs, participate in Activity Fairs, or talk to other students! There are loads of ways you can advertise your club to new members. If you need help, contact Jamie - she's always full of ideas!
RECORDS
Club officers should keep records of important data!
The treasurer should record cash flow and budgets, an officer should record membership, etc.
It will help keep everything clear for all involved!
COMMUNICATE
The most important part of running a successful club or society is communication. Keep in contact with Student Affairs and other club heads over email and at monthly meetings. Make sure you let Student Affairs know if the club chair is changing/graduating!
